Does ChillFingers run in the macOS sandbox?

No. ChillFingers runs outside the App Sandbox because it needs to simulate keyboard events in other applications. This is essential for its core functionality and is the reason it is distributed outside the Mac App Store.

Why does ChillFingers need Accessibility permissions?

ChillFingers simulates keystrokes and monitors click events in other apps. macOS requires Accessibility access for this. On first launch, you'll be prompted to grant permission in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. ChillFingers will not work without this permission.

What CSV format is supported?

ChillFingers supports standard CSV files (comma-separated, UTF-8 encoded). The first row should contain column headers, which are used to map data to workflow steps. Files exported from Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, or any other spreadsheet app will work out of the box.

Can I use ChillFingers with any application?

Yes. Since ChillFingers simulates real keyboard input at the system level, it works with virtually any macOS application — web browsers, native apps, legacy software, remote desktop sessions, and more.

What happens after the 14-day trial?
